1.Description:

This testing instrument complies with the requirements for testing equipment stipulated in GB/T3810.6-2016 "Test Method for Abrasion Resistance of Unglazed Tiles" and ISO/DIS10545-6-2010 "Test Method for Deep Abrasion Resistance of Unglazed Tiles", as well as GB/T12988-2009 "Test Method for Abrasion Resistance of Inorganic Floor Materials". It is suitable for conducting abrasion resistance tests on brittle materials such as unglazed tiles, mosaics, and cement pavement tiles.
2.Working Principle
This testing instrument consists of a power transmission section, a sample fixture section, an abrasive storage and supply section, and an electrical control section. The grinding wheel rotates at a constant speed. The sample is brought into contact with the friction steel wheel at a certain pressure by means of a pressure weight. The abrasive is uniformly fed into the grinding area at a specified flow rate. Under the action of the abrasive, wear pits are formed on the surface of the sample. The wear degree of the sample is indicated by measuring the chord length of the wear pits on the sample surface (accurate to 0.5 mm) and calculating the volume of the wear pits. The average wear volume of two parts of each sample is used for evaluation.
