Strengths

This machine is a testing machine as specified in the Japanese Industrial Standard JIS L 1096 "Test Methods for General Textiles", specifically the "Test Method for Abrasion Resistance A". It is mainly used for testing and evaluating the abrasion resistance of textiles in their flat, creased, and bent states.

By assembling various instruments on the test bench, various tests such as flat wear resistance, crease wear resistance and bending wear resistance can be conducted.

<Planar Wear Resistance Test> The test piece installed on the rotating test stand is rubbed by the friction paper attached to the pressing plate with a pressurized load. The wear resistance is evaluated based on the number of friction times when the test piece is damaged.

<Bending and Wear Resistance Test> A folded test piece is placed with a bent metal sheet inside. Under the simultaneous application of compressive load and tensile load, the test piece is repeatedly rubbed. The wear resistance is evaluated based on the number of times the test piece breaks during the rubbing process.

The "crease wear resistance test" involves using a mold to create a test piece with creases. This test piece is then rubbed against the friction paper installed on a pressurized plate. The wear resistance is evaluated based on the number of times the test piece is rubbed until it is damaged.
