HuaXin 2.69" Olson is a color active matrix AMOLED module using Low Temperature Poly-silicon TFT's (Thin Film Transistors) as active switching devices. This module has a 2.69inch diagonally measured active area with 800RGBx600 resolutions (800horizontal by 600vertical pixel arrays). Each pixel is divided into RED, GREEN, BLUE dots which are arranged in vertical stripe and this module can display 16.7M colors.

AMOLED displays consume power on a per-pixel basis, meaning that pixels that display black or dark content consume very little power, while pixels displaying bright or white content consume more power. LCD and LED displays require a constant backlight that consumes power regardless of the displayed content.
AMOLED displays are more power-efficient for content with dark or black areas, as individual pixels can be turned off. LCD and LED displays consume relatively constant power as the backlight remains active.
AMOLED displays can dynamically adjust pixel brightness for better efficiency in low-brightness scenarios. LCD and LED displays typically have fixed backlight brightness, resulting in higher consumption.
AMOLED displays are more power-efficient for smaller sizes as consumption scales with pixel count. Larger LCD/LED displays may require more power-hungry backlights.
